Privacy Policy

Refill does not collect personal information. There is no account and no sign-in. The devices and supplies you add are stored only on your device. We do not run a server, so we cannot see what you have added.

1. Information we collect

Refill does not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses or any other information that identifies you. No account is required and there is no login.

2. What is stored in the app

The names of the devices and supplies you add, their replacement intervals, the date you last replaced them and the dates you tapped “bought” are kept only in your device’s local storage. The Home Screen widget reads the same storage so that it can show the same list. None of this is transmitted anywhere.

Tapping Delete everything in the app’s Settings erases all of it. Deleting the app also deletes it. No separate deletion request is needed.

3. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device and delivered by your device. We do not hold any information about you in order to send them. Notification text never contains advertising or shopping links.

You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings › Notifications.

4. Coupang links

When you go to buy a supply, Refill opens Coupang in an in-app browser. What happens inside that browser is governed by Coupang’s own privacy policy and terms. Refill cannot see what you viewed or what you bought.

Refill takes part in the Coupang Partners program and earns a commission from qualifying purchases. Coupang calculates the commission; only the total amount is reported to us, never who bought what.

5. Advertising

Refill shows a banner ad at the bottom of the screen to support development. Ads are served through Google AdMob, which may collect and use advertising-related information such as your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), device information and an approximate location inferred from your IP address. Your list of devices and supplies is never used for advertising and is never sent to advertisers.

On iOS you can decline the app’s tracking request in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Declining does not limit any feature of Refill. We do not use full-screen interstitial or rewarded ads.

6. Removing ads

A one-time in-app purchase removes the banner. Payment is handled by the Apple App Store; Refill never sees or stores payment details such as card numbers. Apple records the purchase against your account, so “Restore purchases” brings it back if you reinstall the app.

7. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Ads are served by Google as described in section 5, and shopping links open Coupang as described in section 4. There is no other recipient.

8. Location

Refill does not access your device location and does not request location permission.

9. Children

Refill is not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Your choices

Everything the app stores is on your own device, so you remain in control of it.
